did oprah just totally steal my exact phrasing from an article i responded too once smokinggun published it's findings. how cool. i've been tuning into smokinggun since time began, so it's even kewler when people i've told for years they should check it out come up to me and ask if i've ever heard it. :) dumb bastards yes, but they finally got to the right place.
and if one more person emails me anything about how if i find penny brown i'll most likely get an o'charley's gift card and a free ipod... well, let me just refer them (AGAIN) to snopes.com. why haven't i thought of that before? oh, i have. about a ga-million times. they have a freaking search engine poeple!! do you know what that is?
speaking of search engines - i know several otherwise intelligent people who still use phone books (those thick paper thingys that must take at least 1 tree & 4,000 gallon vat of yellow #12 each to make) to find phone numbers. it's called google. type it in this format: joe's pizza new york, ny - then, like magic you have a listing of anything matching or close to what you type in. it even shows a MAP! (we'll cover what that is later)
